I was at this embassy a few months ago (before Jan 20). So much has changed. What a weird experience.

Went to a U.S. Embassy in Europe* yesterday to do some paperwork and according to personnel their payment system had been down globally all morning, so were unable to take credit card payments. Also noticed many of the security guards had Russian accents rather than local to the country I was in.
