Then again, I do occasionally still see someone make the argument that racism doesn't exist anymore while SIMULTANEOUSLY actively supporting the mass deportations and ending birthright citizenship so there's some wild cognitive dissonance in the world.

I can't imagine keeping up these jokes in the world we live in today. Maybe I'm just in a different bubble than where I was before, but all of the very real racism and fascism and nazi shit feels absolutely inescapable now, so I can't possibly see how someone would see it the way I did 16 years ago.

Frankly, I didn't believe this shit was real, or at the very least, was so obviously utterly fucked up that basically everyone knows its fucked up and no one would possibly agree with it or take it seriously. The mere idea that people would take up this shit unironically ruined it completely.

These were ONLY funny to me because I was living in a place and time where I was completely shielded from the consequences.

It's also a pretty rough connection for the left right now when zionists are pushing really hard to associate us with anti-semitism. This is a fucking *gift* for them.

But the more baggage we have to clean up to make the candidate palette-able, the more desperate the left comes across to the average voter. And this isn't like, smear BS where people just lie about their policies or call everything Marxist. You can't fault people for distrusting the Nazi Tat Guy.

Like, yes, if its 100% true that the shit on reddit he no longer stands by, and he has remorse for his time as a soldier, and he had no idea his tattoo was a nazi symbol, then yeah I'd probably prefer him over a status quo democrat or especially a republican, because the policy matters most to me.

I understand why some feel inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt because all of the policies he's been supporting lately are shit we need right now and we don't want to lose what few who champion them we have.

It sucks because I want to take the most people who will speak out for medicare for all, who will speak out against the demonization of trans people, who will speak out against the Gaza genocide, who will speak out against the oligarchy, so finding this heavy baggage on one really fucking sucks

A YouTube video titled "Only 2 People Beat This Level. 170,000 Failed It." The thumbnail reads "You can't beat this." and shows a level that seems to have a clear solution, mario being right next to the flag and a sizable gap for him to fall through to reach the flag.

The same YouTube video, with the actual level being played. The level is the exact same as in the thumbnail except the gap has mostly closed in such a way that would make it significantly more difficult if at all possible to enter. The thumbnail tempts you with a seemingly simple challenge supposedly being somehow extremely difficult, but that is not what is in the actual video.
