NASA-ISRO Satellite Sends First Radar Images of Earth’s Surface Preliminary images from the most powerful Earth radar satellite ever launched offer a tantalizing glimpse of the science the mission will be able to deliver.

Some good news from space, as the NASA-ISRO NISAR mission publishes its first synthetic aperture radar images of Earth. This spacecraft has a heckin' big antenna (a dish 12 meters across) for bouncing L- and S-band (25- and 10-cm) radio waves off the surface www.jpl.nasa.gov/news/nasa-is...

There are a tremendous number of icebergs in Tracy Arm following the landslide-triggered tsunami. The reason for this is that ~300 meters of the north side of South Sawyer Glacier broke off and disintegrated into many many smaller icebergs as seen in @planet.com imagery πŸ§ͺβš’οΈ
