There are two fallacies that some Democrats buy into. Let me clear it up for you.

1. Yes, some muslims were celebrating 9/11, black and brown people saw it and talked about it. I don't know if it happened in white neighborhoods.

2. Low level SNAP abuse happens, people sell their ACCESS number.

No, it comes from a few people selling monthly access to their cards and using the money they get to buy alcohol and drugs. You can't lie and say it doesn't happen because that is not helping your cause. The guys I knew that did this were living in a shelter, so they did have guaranteed meals.

I can't cosign that because I have seen it abused while I was homeless and living in a shelter during the previous Trump administration. But I don't think that a few people abusing the program means that you take it away from everyone.

Remember that while food banks welcome donations of food, they prefer $$$$$$$. They have deals with grocery stores and suppliers. You can only buy one dollar's worth of food for one dollar, but they can buy several dollars' worth. So don't, like, buy food to donate it, just give 'em the dough.
