I absolutely love Fairport, born & raised, moved away and moved back. Nice farmers market, couple brewery/distillery places in village. Love canal. Very community oriented. Taxes fairly high. Not bad commute into the city. Schools good. DM me if you have any specific questions.

The town matters a lot. Fairport is very different than Henrietta, Webster is very different than Greece.

I don’t want to be deliberately uninformed, but this shit just absolutely crushes my soul every time I look at the news. Might hit the liquor store on the way home from lunch with my girlfriends.

They are pricy, but Mooncat hasn’t gotten goopy for me, and their speed demon topcoat is an absolute miracle. Small(ish) business, woman owned, regularly supports various cat charities.

I’n always impressed by the efficiency with which the employees at Wegmans handle the power being out. Everyone just shifts their tasks to cover coolers, move refrigerated items etc. No panic, no chaos, still open enough to grab&go. Crappy way to start the day, but good job Perinton @Wegmans.

I was so proud of myself for not working over the Thanksgiving break to catch up, but….ooof. At this point, it feels like I’ll never get caught back up.

Now see, my late husband would have killed for that. Big DJ fan.

In the torrential rain, screeching that if people wouldn’t down an umbrella, we would just all sit an get soaked. I understand the safety aspect, but it had a very “you (probably) don’t speak English, so I’ll get yell louder” quality.

Sounds very similar to me trying to get a photo of one of my cats being oh so cute.

But if everyone else likes the shiny new program that kind of but not really does everything we could want…we should get it too! (I’m not bitter.)

Needs to be as vague and all-encompassing as possible so that it can be used for any multitude of purposes down the line. Specificity would limit that goal.

Ugh. This is one of the girls in our little dinner group. Three of us are there, and she’s three towns away, getting ready to leave.

I used to think I was going to die as a result of asshats whipping through the Wegmans parking lot. Now, I’m pretty sure one of my cats will trip me on the stairs as they race to get their daily wet food one afternoon.
