Myself in a yellow Patagonia T-shirt standing atop Navaho Peak in the Washington Cascades. I am facing Mount Stuart, which is 2,000+ vertical feet higher, and which I have stood on top of before. Navaho Peak is 7,223 ft above sea level and climbs 4,250 ft. from the trailhead to the summit.

Today I climbed & tore the hell out of my body. 13.7 miles, 4,250 vertical feet, around 80°F. Still not doing well mentally. The mountains, my dogs, running: all used to heal me. Now nothing.
