I know Denis would be proud of the wonderful scientific contributions in his memory. RIP Denis, we all miss you very much.

My sentiments exactly. Except switch "raise money for shelter animals" with "do math". Although I do love animals, but that would be further down the priority list for me.

On International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences honours the essential contributions of women and girls in STEM. We are dedicated to cultivating an inclusive and empowering community within the mathematical sciences.

As the kids would say, we're cooked. They're dismantling things so much quicker this time around.

What's scary to me is how much quicker and more efficient they are this time around. Who knows how much damage they're gonna be able to do.
