I’m hitting high e numbers very regularly now (like a run a day goes above e100), that magic naneinf feels tantalisingly close. This one had all the ingredients, I just ran out of money digging for serpent so many times. #balatro

And 31 billion is nothing to be sniffed at - each time I cracked a milestone (100k, 1b, e11 etc) I thought “that’s my ceiling” but before you know it i was knocking on the door to the next one. I think you find patterns of play and consistency as you go.

I like the classic 4 repeat cards + baron mime combo because you can evolve to it quite consistently. Always falter getting all the pieces right at the end, really needs what feels like perfect play as stakes get higher. I think I got closest with Perkeo, but I don’t really seed dig, no patience 😅

I’m currently tooling up for a trip to the nether gathering happy ghast materials - that’s the one new mechanic that I’ve not played with that looks fun as hell.

Just in time for the copper overhaul that should drop in the next couple months. Copper golems look like a potential game changer for those of us who can’t be arsed with complex automatic sorting systems.

It’s a film that since I watched it, the more I’ve thought about it, the more I’ve disliked the very idea of it. I think I gave it 2 stars in first viewing based on the execution, but the cynicism and mean spiritedness of it all is what my mind returns to whenever I think about it.
