Is it self-contained? Like, do I need to know about what Absolute Batman is up to or endure a crossover with the rest of the Absolute DC Universe or whatever?

The Eisners and the Ignatzes always make me feel out of touch with comics but in excitingly different ways.

Lots of strong nominees in the latter. Haven’t read everything & ranking art is weird, but I loved Medem’s Land of Mirrors & I’m always in favour of handing B Mure as many awards as possible.
