Scottish Independence folk- will you vote:
A SNP 1&2
B SNP 1 Green or SSP2
C Green or SSP 1 SNP 2
D SNP 1 Your Party 2
E Your Party 1 SNP 2
F Other (explain- but just remember, if Alba is one of your choices, you'll be laughed at).

Definitely a B for me. Unless someone convinces me otherwise here in A&B. We have to max the yes parties rather than marginally miss Swinney's stretch goals for a ref. Ther's too much at stake (NHS, public services etc) with a grand coalition of unionist bams lining up against what we have here.

That the labour party see anything Zach Polanski is doing as a "threat" rather than the ideal ally in a desperately difficult time for the UK is pretty much everything wrong with them. Labour dropped* the torch of representing the people, Greens picked it up.

JC in GE 2017 and I think also GE 2019 performed better than Starmer did in GE 2024, which was largely won via a Tory vote collapse.

Labour slump to fourth in poll behind Greens and Conservatives A NEW poll has put Keir Starmer's Labour Party in fourth place behind Reform, the Greens and Conservatives.

They are even polling behind the Tories now. Wow.πŸ₯€

Techincally he died previously, living without a pulse for months (artificially kept alive) before a heart was found for transplant. He was a hidden power behind GWB presidency, 'war on terror' & illegal Iraq war. Allegedly he stood down US fighters from intercepting hijacked airliners on 9/11 too.

Well 2014 was very liekly manipulated and were currently being told SNP are a 'national security threat' because of opposition to nuc lear weapons, so it must be time to massage a vote again & this gives them time to get a fix in. Ballot boxes full of postal votes again? heavily weighted for Labour?

Immigration, indecency, and incompetence. New post on my Brexit & Brexitism Blog. The ever-more indecent terms of the immigration 'debate' are another failure of Brexit, which links to the ever-more obvious incompetence of Reform in local government: chrisgreybrexitblog.blogspot.com/2025/10/immi...

Reform 'aim to be kingmakers at Holyrood – and would make Anas Sarwar first minister' The Reform party aims to be the β€œkingmakers” at the Scottish Parliament election in 2026 and would vote for Anas Sarwar to become First Minister…

Reform already said they would will make Sarwar FM if they have the numbers. (Despite running a racist ad against him in May this year). Strange bedfellows (for union) for sure.

The BBC is already a Farage propaganda machine. It is entirely the fault of the BBC that he has the profile that he now does. More appearances than any other UK politician on Question Time, even when he was just a nobody MEP with a big mouth.

Is it all over for centrist politics? | The News Agents A new poll shows a continued decline for Labour’s popularity among UK voters, as parties on the β€˜edges’ of British politics - such as Reform and the Greens continue to thrive. Is there any way back…

"One of the reasons he's become so disliked so quickly is that so many voters believe, in many senses, he embodies the system.

"I think it's quite unfair, but to them, he is almost an AI-generated version of what a politician looks and sounds like"

Maybe the MSM here are just upping Reform's agenda much like the MSM south of the border has done. They'd like to make it an issue surely as the UK state further descends into oblivion.

I keep seeing/hearing versions of the claim that immigration is now in the top three issues for Scots (that specifically from The Scotsman's politics podcast).

The most recent Scottish issue polling was done in the summer, by Ipsos, and immigration wasn't in the top ten.

Where is this coming from?

Doesn't feel that long ago seeing the Cal Mac Clyde streakers (Jupiter, Juno and Saturn) being retired (2007->2011). They were never properly replaced either, but were much missed by locals. Remote communities do become attached to their dependable ferry services.

This parliamentary group should be dissolved immediately. Its members have disgraced themselves. They pose as protectors of women while cosying up to the Magdalene laundries, for pity’s sake. It’s vile, unconscionable hypocrisy. They’re unfit to hold public office. Keep the spotlight on this, please

Banksters. 2010 will happen again. Deregulation the cause. I remember Gordon Brown slapping Iceland on a terrorism watchlist when Icelanders decided to prosecute bankers instead of bailing them out. Here we never fully recovered from 2010 bailouts. Corporate socialism good, public socialism bad.
