#TheArchers At my Dad’s funeral (held in Scotland) rather than a eulogy I gave “A wee blether about….” him. He loved blethering and I think he would have appreciated it.

#TheArchers I’m personally not too keen on the word “eulogy” being used at an explicitly Christian funeral, as the deceased will normally want to encourage mourners to reflect on the hope of the gospel rather than praise the individual.

YMMV.

I’ve seen an increasing trend for multiple eulogies at funerals - sometimes from different family members but more often from people representing different aspects of the deceased’s life.
