I really enjoyed his book “The Swerve” too. Thanks for putting this one on my radar! I agree, he is a great writer.

i've played like 10 hours of 2025 and it's a huge letdown. graphics aren't improved at all, same boring fetch quests, and they still refuse to implement any of the QoL changes everyone's been asking for

Just reread Dark Deleuze over the last couple hours. Though deeply provocative, it is not a mere provocation. Do not let its brevity fool you. This is a serious scholarly work!

The "War on Christmas" was an inside job.
A photograph of a photoshopped book cover adapted from the book cover for philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche’s book, Beyond Good and Evil. At the center, Nietzsche is wearing a Santa hat. Instead of “Beyond Good and Evil,” the text reads “Beyond Naughty and Nice.”
Better late than never: Merry Christmas to those celebrating!

If you’re introducing to young children the ethical frameworks of deontology vs. consequentialism, then yes. I cannot figure out its utility in any other circumstance.

For those curious, the poems are titled “Mein Glück,” “Warum ich so klug bin,” and “Die Sonne sinkt.”

Guy de Pourtalés says: “For Nietzsche, who escaped from his educational prison, Venice was nothing more than the exquisite city of silence and mediation.”
One who reads the poems will clearly see that Venice is more than that for Nietzsche
I believe this is also because the victims’ families sued the venue, not the event planner.
