We don't even protect children (or adults) against air pollution that well. The "school run" is the perfect example of how we've trapped children into breathing in toxic pollutants right from primary school age

Remember, whenever you hear that β€œspeed wasn’t a factor” in a deadly crash, what they mean is that the car involved wasn’t technically speeding. At least β€œnot by much.” It presumes that the speed limit wasn’t too high to begin with.

When it comes to death from collisions, SPEED IS ALWAYS a factor.

My e-bike tends to hover around 16.5mph before the assistance cuts out completely. Wonder if they use a similar torque sensor compared to Lime's on/off approach?

I still haven't forgiven them for removing the one thing that would pressure Brent into doing something around Kenton Road, Watford Road and Northwick Park roundabout.

If anything, it's a discount. Considering inflation, it should be Β£19

A lot of new developments don't even bother with pavements, just "shared spaces" which are exclusively for cars in reality

While I completely understand the worry about fires on the Underground, can I tediously point out that the risk almost *never* comes from actual e-bikes, and almost always from what are, under the law, illegal electric motorbikes. Proper, legal, 15mph-limited e-bikes are very, very safe.
