I haven't posted in a while, so happy new year to everyone. I decided that I needed to slow up for a bit of self-care as I get into the routine of 2025, so when I have the time, I'm working on one of my favourite #crochet patterns #sophiesuniverse . I've just finished Part 4 this evening.

Getting on with the #ChristmasCrafting, ready for the Christmas fair stalls. I've poured 5 1/2 tea trays of resin, and I've done up some t-shirts and my new hoody (I don't think that my t-shirt will be enough for an outdoor stall at this time of year 🥶)

A bit of tunisian simple stitch using Stylecraft Life DK in shade 2498. I'll do a tunisian honeycomb stitch as a border.
Not a typical colour for a baby blanket, but I'm wanting to donate a blanket to local Lincoln charity Baby's Basket and I like a bit of an alternative.

The pom had a better trim this morning, so I'm happier with it.
The almost-10-year-old claimed the hat this evening. I'm glad that he loves it. More yarn ordered, in a different colourway, so I can make myself another. It makes me feel great if my kids fall in love with my work.
Thank you! I'm contemplating making the next size down today. I still have a fair bit of the skein remaining, since it comes in 200g. I wasn't even sure if I'd quite have enough when I decided to do the set (whilst in the middle of the hat). It's lovely to work with.

This hat is the Back in Brugge pattern from Heart Hook Home, w/ a pair of fingerless mitts to match. The yarn is Hobbii Manaya.
I'd love your opinions. Does it need a smaller pom-pom?
