Climate impacts will worsen over time - we mustn’t lay the financial burden of future climate disasters on young people’s shoulders by kicking the can down the road.

Local students led the delegation to Coquitlam council and delivered an impressive presentation, but were disappointed by council’s (non)response. They plan to continue to press council on this issue.

Coquitlam #SueBigOil supporters gathered at Coquitlam City Hall today to urge @cityofcoquitlam to explore recovering a fair share of the city’s costs from the world’s largest polluters instead of passing those costs on to taxpayers.
