Bought a Retrofighters Defender pad a couple of months ago and while the pad worked with my PC the receiver for the PS2 wouldn't work. I reported it to RetroFighters and they said they'd send me a new adapter - but kindly (thank you!) they sent me a whole new pad! 😍

My wife's out today so I should get time to play on it before she gets back and installs all the Two Point games on it and I never see it again 🤣

The closest I've bought a console to release since the Atari Jaguar, back in the day. Hopefully this one does better 🤣

I think perhaps it was a little over ambitious, like Club Drive. Would have loved an F1GP port instead.

No love from me 😂 My favourite Jag racers are Super Burnout and Power Drive Rally, both of those are good. Checkered Flag was pretty poor unfortunately.

The beige/white one - I like my Amigas to look like Amigas 🙂

I'm a member of that FB group, must have missed that drama 😂 It's the group's loss losing someone like you, some of the admins speak nonsense on there and get away with it unfortunately.

Loved this game. Used to play it on my dad's work laptop which has one of those green tinted screens. He only had a couple of games and this was one of them 🙂

I used to enjoy going to Sounds Familiar in Romford, would get the train there. Slipped Discs in Chelmsford was good too and my local one.

Yeah, not sure I've ever played a snooker or pool game on a console. Always a mouse on the Amiga and PC ones 🙂

Though I had it on the PC, but assume it was the same!

Used to love this game. Graphics were great and the soundtrack was really relaxing.

I should probably do this to my Amiga 2000 keyboard at some point. It's getting rather yellow.

Don't have a gun for my CD-i but have the Wii version and also have it on my arcade cabinet. Is the CDI port good?

Played this to death on my A1200. It was the main reason I got a harddrive for it!

You can get an adapter and use a Bluetooth controller. That's what I have. Cheaper than the crazy prices for those original pads.

Post something that's a flex to a niche group, that most folks won't understand.

Yeah, the Amiga porta were massively disappointing. Mortal Kombat is a decent port though.

Yeah, Sega did the right thing. Shame on the Amiga they didn't introduce a 4 or 6 button pad until the CD32. Sticking with 1-2 buttons was rubbish when SF2 etc arrived.

Think I prefer the 6 button version. That's a lovely pad. I was more a fan of the Snes pad than the 3 button megadrive one.

Yeah, it's good - though you need a pretty powerful Amiga. Reminds me a bit of Andretti Racing. There are lots of FPS ports from PC to Amiga (which I'd rather just play on PC) but nice to see something different.

What a nice port this is! Speed Haste on the Amiga. I've not played the PC original, but it's a great little arcade racer. Perfect for the first day of the F1 calendar! #Amiga

Yeah, I think it's got better games (as long as you have a region mod), much better controller and much better light guns.
