Others will know better, but Kickstart has nothing to do with Workbench (except as an enabler) and TOS is GEM and GEMDOS, I always assumed. But I'm ready to be educated.

It definitely remember feeling impressed by GEM: I certainly wouldn't have done so by the time Windows 3.1 started to filter through on the Goldstar/Commodore PCs we used to flog.

Good to know you got the humour! The accuracy in colour and film grading they went to to simulate the 1970s productions is a testiment to the reverence and love they placed on the original material
