Yesterday had a 5-year late "aha" moment in what I think has been my biggest flaw in terms of game dev: documentation/GDD design. Like I got the ideas but coherently organizing them into a readable idea thing has been a struggle and it all finally clicked yesterday in head on how to approach it :3

None of us knows exactly what's going to happen next. Too much is being decided by chaotic buffoons. Even if you accurately map what major players would do to best serve their own interests, that's not a reliable map. Uncertainty is difficult and also a real condition.

As you read the news today, watch who phrases the news as an "illegal invasion and regime change" versus "bringing democracy". It'll tell you everything you need to know about the news source you're reading, and frankly should decide whether you ever read them seriously again.
