An audience can only experience a movie one moment at a time.

I try to duplicate that in my screenwriting. One moment after another, in the order the audience experiences it.

It is one of many ways to get the reader to feel like they've seen the movie just from the read.

I hear that. I'm very sensitive to how long the days are. I already detected the shortening of the days... and, that saddens me a bit. I definitely love the long days of summer.

Yeah... it sounds romantic... tons of darkness... but, I know I'd crack. lol

Every now and then (rarely) the fog depresses me.

For the most part... it's great writing weather... lessening my desire to go outside or to the beach.😆

The central valley of California gets hot in the summer and interacts with the cool ocean... thus, creating the fog.

So, for the most part, sf is covered in fog staying nice and cool.
