I am not so optimistic: There is still a lot of organic living matter that can be exploited and wasted by us. 🤢 The devastation will be just more apparent for the few.. when plundering kicks off due to diminishing returns, etc....
Too much POWER in our hands and very little WISDOM in our heads...

habitat matters a lot more than surviving physical limits.. co-dependecies are a key factor understanding survivability in my opinion... and well unfortunately, tardigrades are more likely than not to fall into oblivion in the not so distant future..

I am a lot more convinced we will be under +1.60°C for the entire 2024 than not in ERA5.
To close at +1.6 December will have to be a little bit over +1.70°C which I doubt would be the case.
