When I was able to finally dump Adobe and Autodesk, it felt like a weight was lifted off of me. I was there when they bought and killed Softimage XSI. Also love that my free Zbrush updates as a paid user no longer exist, so I dropped that piece of software too. No idea what I'd do without Blender.

We've got lens flares up the wazoo, dithered texture smoothing that make the boys at 3Dfx shake in their boots with their new fangled voodoo cards. 😜

Most folks just call it Non-Euclidean geometry, in our case it's the game engine equivalent of smoke and mirrors - back in 2.5D, non true-3D engines like the one behind Duke Nukem worked in such a way that Non-Euclidean levels were pretty trivial to set up, so we wanted to borrow from that. 😁
