Don't get me wrong I really enjoyed the court drama and everything, but the way the books were hyped made it seem like eventually Jude massively develops as a character and I felt the opposite. Obv she climbs the ranks and wins the plot but it felt like she lost herself in the pursuit.

Gotta say I was very underwhelmed by the cruel prince series 😮‍💨 it had so much hype, I was so excited for the writing style... But... I genuinely don't get the hype for Cardan and Jude! I read Cardans letters and that helped a lot but it really just doesn't feel like Jude ever fell in love.

I've been trying so hard to tune into the universe and genuinely connect with people and it's like constant rejection. I love the Internet. I hate the Internet.
