Here is a #precapillarysphincter. As #arterioles 🟢 dive into the 🧠, they branch to smaller vessels. When larger arterioles (15-25um) branch into #capillaries, they need a #sphincter (3-4um) to reduce #RBC flow⚫️ and pressure in the #capillary.
