Now in my case, I do have an amazing midlevel coach who's offered my team to scrims, but outside of that it seems the only way to get experience playing with high level players is entering open-level tournaments and trying to find any shred of info in your 0-2 set. Needless to say, could be better.

lowkey agree with this; as a club tennis player, a lot of what I transferred to splatoon came directly from tennis (mentality, analysis, things like that). In high school and college, it felt very easy to find someone better than you to work with and learn from *directly*, whereas splatoon...

as someone who recently started coaching a team, this is totally valid :3

Minecraft Bedrock Edition has been a little busy these past few days...

We got 5th Silver Bracket (15th overall) in All 4 One #51: Rainmaker this past Friday; then, we came 5th in the +L Tournament just yesterday! GGs to all the teams we played, it was fun!

would any low-level teams be interested in a program where you'd scrim a mid-level team and receive coaching after the session?

I especially want to hear from those around D7 or D8, as I think facing anything further down the comp ladder would fall off in terms of effectiveness

definitely interested in this! it's very hard to find teams to scrim up (and understandably so), so something like this would be awesome.

I wholeheartedly agree with this, the endlag is just...way too much. every other shooter has the option to back out of a fight if they whiff, but h3's lag is so long that you're committing to every fight you take (unless you're playing passively, in which case you might as well play neo splash)

Also, it's okay if a weapon doesn't resonate with you. Not everything has to be a new main or secondary, nor does it have to find success in comp (or even in soloq). The most important thing is, simply put, whether or not you have fun playing the weapon.

I definitely feel this; my advice would be to find pickups or 8s where you can freely experiment with your weapons. Scrims with your own team are nice, but trying to fit a new weapon into your team's system won't always work and it could limit your creativity with whatever you're trying.
