Did a scrim against hyperdive earlier where I unfortunately had to leave early for not-having-my-body-explode reasons, and man... I'm excited to see that style pushed more, extremely fun and expressive style to both fight against and with

Love the enthusiasm for playing against JP more, but I think we can also make a better scene by encouraging more weapons+playstyles than the norm. I don't think we're going to get the diversity we saw today in the west if unconventional players get harassed for not following the meta

imo it’s less that tent + bow itself is a good combo, it’s that bow wants something like tent to be enabled to play to its ideal playstyle around how the enemy team and their own team play around tent, this applies to most non standard anchors out there but you can probably go deeper than just this

Announcement regarding Upcurrent: following LUTI, the team has....

SURVIVED HAHAHAHA

We'll be around still, with lots of new schemes we're cooking up

However, we'll be on a brief hiatus due to some irl stuff that needs to be cleared up. Some of us need naps.....

I want to talk a little about what happened in LUTI this season now that it's over.

Upcurrent started as a way for Juni, Scion, and I to gain some independence and ability to play the game in a manner which we had good control over for LUTI. I don't think we knew what we were getting into, really

rip the luti run but it still went pretty good considering the circumstances (as a whole and for the matches), still feels like a really nice start

Upcurrent loses to Spherical Comedy 2-5 in LUTI div 6 week 8, ending our run in top 8. GGs to everyone we faced this season everywhere
