was stewing in my own thoughts wanting to talk at someone without someone actually being there and then remembered that social media exists. this is a win for me, perhaps a loss for other people. i miss vent for me feeling like it was ok for me to scream at the wall. sad!

I think it’s super important to do art for yourself. But also don’t deny those feelings you get when you share it and don’t get a response. It’s okay for it to disappoint you that no one else dug it but you. Keep making what you like.

The worst part of editing is the stage where you Frankenstein your own book, hacking out scenes, moving them around, inserting new ones, and cleaning up all the dangling bits of flesh from the incisions.
