Why wasn’t there a more coordinated protest by dems during the address? I saw numerous with signs they held up in protest, but not all. Why isn’t there a more united front? It seems like it could have been a way to demonstrate strength and effectively protest within rules of decorum.

Thinking we should reclaim the word “patriot” and change its definition from “someone who loves their country and will fight for it” (because what does THAT even mean?) to “someone who loves everyone in their country and will defend them.”

It’s time to blow up your senators’ and representatives’ inboxes and voicemails, y’all. We’re stuck in the minority in both chambers, but STILL contact them RELENTLESSLY and demand they fight viciously against this bullshit. PRESSURE them to fucking fight. We the people need to take our power back.

Human rights should not be left up to “state’s rights.” I’m not sure why this is such a difficult concept to get. States should be able to decide their own tax codes, not whether or not certain people are afforded dignity.
