Update: back to being goofy

After everything that has happened to our family this year it feels greedy to ask for another miracle but I could really use one right now. ♥️ Keen is back at the vet with a diabetic emergency this morning.

I’m here and alive! Got a kindle for my birthday and a stand and remote page turner for Christmas and have done nothing except eat snacks and read ever since.

The tv remote at my parent's house went missing the day Dad died. We've torn furniture and their house apart looking for 2 months now. Today the dog jumped up onto "his" chair and the remote fell out and landed at Mom's feet. I guess he thinks she can have it back now. <3

I am the Queen of ear infections and I love my loops. They seem to let my ears.. breathe?? or something. I sleep in them and wear them at the dinner table because *chewing*

I was not at all prepared for what an absolute sensory nightmare it would be to have two of my fingers stuck together and rigid for 8 weeks. 4 down, 4 to go.

At the furthest point of the family pasture I can see the top of my favorite lighthouse AND Cape Split. Too bad it’s far too windy to build a house there.

I am shocked by how much mobility I’ve lost from such a small fracture! It’s nonsense. Thank you ♥️

I ran across the beach to take this picture three weeks ago and now I have to splint my fingers for 4-6 more weeks. 🙃 Did not anticipate being “fall and break bones” years old in my 30’s.

This will be the last one for a while hopefully. They’ll retreat to the woods for hunting season next weekend. 🙄

Sweet dreams!

Melatonin dreams are terrifying and zopiclone made me sleepwalk. I've been prescribed cyclobenzaprine (a muscle relaxant) and it's been very gentle and super helpful at easing the anxiety so I can get to sleep on the worst nights. Hope you find something that helps!

Lol I have one of those kids too but he’s content with Walmart sweatpants so he’s much easier to shop for!

They're a bit pricey unless they're on sale but you can sometimes snag them in the 35-45 dollar range and they last pretty well (I've got rough and tumble kids)
