I get that! I removed my name from my profile when the Free Beacon wrote about my library, and I was afraid I'd get fired.

(not trying to be gate-keepy here, but it matters that zines come out of anarchopunk DIY cultures, as well as radical self-publishing like the Harlem Renaissance and Samizdat)

I have an expanding zine corpus that is ready for light experimentation (with some notice). The main thing is that I want to focus on criticality--how zines are part of a radical publishing tradition and different from other self-publications. Zines are not for everyone. They are for subcultures.

A lot of what I do is have people read and discuss zines, either that I curate or that they find in the catalog. I use a document camera so we can share our close reading (as informed by Alison Piepmeier's Why Zines Matter article/chapter).
