Israeli settlers broke into a mosque between the Palestinian villages of Kisan and Al-Minya near Bethlehem on Sunday night, Feb. 8, 2026, vandalizing the site and desecrating religious property. According to the head of the Al-Minya village council, settlers burned copies of the Quran, stole carpets, and cut electrical wiring inside the mosque, then released sheep to graze on surrounding land and trees, causing further damage.
