I’m bald. I don’t know how anything works. People don’t like my comedy. Fine, I’ll do it. I’ll be the Joe Rogan of the left.

The arguments against birthright citizenship aren't credible exercises of intellectual exploration; they are anti-constitutional themselves.

The purpose of the Citizenship Clause was to end the debate. Entertaining anything other than citizenship by native birth is an attack on the 14th Amendment.

RFK Jr talking about the need for doctors to know how to treat measles for those who are unvaccinated.

β€œOnly very sick kids should die from measles.”

No. They shouldn’t. That was the point of the vaccine. We eradicated the virus so children didn’t die.

Sick & disabled kids are not expendable!

I have read dozens of books like these to my own children: stories that help them process new emotions, and show them how to demonstrate love and respect for others, and perhaps teach them the letters of the alphabet in a format that doesn’t require me to play the fucking song on my phone for the billionth time. Nearly all of the characters in these books are straight and cisgender. Objections to storybooks that instead portray gay or transgender people in the course of imparting the same valuable life lessons are not, as Becket lawyers argue, objections to classroom instruction on β€œgender and sexuality.” They are rejections of the idea that anyone has a responsibility to treat gay and transgender people with dignity and respect.

This caseβ€”the unapologetic homophobia, the cloying feigned ignorance, the cartoonishly obvious bad faithβ€”has made me angrier than I've felt in a long time (like a week, probably) ballsandstrikes.org/scotus/mahmo...

Let’s Take a Look at the Children’s Books Sam Alito Is So Afraid Of Stories like "Uncle Bobby's Wedding" are only objectionable if you find the very existence of LGBTQ people to be objectionable.

The children's books that Sam Alito says convey "highly objectionable moral principles" are standard-issue storybooks with gay and trans characters. They don't teach anything about "gender and sexuality." Alito is just a homophobe who doesn't want to see it. ballsandstrikes.org/scotus/mahmo...

An extremely expensive and stressful day at the emergency vet! The dogs went full white lotus and ate a bunch of toxic fruit that fell into our yard. They are still so, so sick but appear to be doing better. Grateful to the vet and staff who took such good care of them and saved their lives.

Scalia had some shocking moments of bigotry on and off the bench, but I do not think I've ever heard a justice talk like Alito is today. He is not even trying to make legal arguments. He's disgusted by the idea of gay people, and arguing the case for parents who feel the same way. Absolutely vile.

I don't really care what the "political consequences" are of fighting for the proposition that *everyone* is entitled to due process before they are removed from the United States and sent to a Salvadoran prison.

It's not really a principle if you only adhere to it when it's politically expedient.

The logic of eugenics is first to assume disability is undesirable and should be eradicated. Once you’ve established this as stable ground (or at least part of legitimate debate), you work to code everything else you want to eliminate as disability.

You can never, never grant the premise.

This evil, vicious, dangerous man would never be able to understand or perceive what neurodivergence really means or is.
His disgust for disability shapes everything he does and systemic societal ableism has elevated this man to a position where he can do untold harm to millions.

12 Dem Senators and 48 Dem House members voted for the Laken Riley Actβ€”allowing US Govt to deport immigrants on the mere accusation of a crime.

As you see those 60 Dems complain about Mahmoud Khalil, Rumeysa Ozturk, or Kilmar Abrego Garcia, among many moreβ€”please know they enabled this fascism.

BREAKING: An immigration court determined our client Mahmoud Khalil to be removable from the U.S. based solely on his political speech.

The fight isn't over β€” we'll keep fighting for Mahmoud's freedom and all of our First Amendment rights in federal court.

The decision on Mahmoud Khalil today will reveal whether we live in a system where authorities can decide what speech is acceptable and condemn people on that basis.

We all must pay attention.
