You’re right— the UI leaves A LOT to be desired. For me, it was my first real experience with an e-ink display, and I fell in love with the contrast, paper-like experience. The refresh limitations of it are… dare I say refreshing 🤣. It’s a nice change of pace compared to most other tech.

Ever since getting a reMarkable tablet, I’ve fallen in love with e-ink screens. I can totally see the appeal of a “slow phone.”
