it's def a licensing issue but i wouldn't be surprised if those doing well led to them going "oh we could do music packs for future licensed titles of other franchises"

oh i just meant like. srw v+x+t did these premium sound vers where you could pay more for a deluxe version of the game with licensed songs
and i think those were the first titles of theirs to do that
but then it started happening across other titles, because it showed there was demand for this stuff

those ports are kinda miracles. like what do you mean they included saga frontier 2s pocketstation functionality with improvements to those systems for the sake of qol.
and all their remasters let you opt out of the added content! they're kinda the golden standard for rereleases to me
