I’ve been playing Dragon Quest XI lately, and now I’m finally at the point where I can head to Yggdrasil’s Alter - The Smash Bros. Stage.

It’s probably the last DnD session of 2025 tomorrow.

Kinda sad, but at least I have time to plan (procrastinate) on lore and worldbuilding.

But I wonder if it’s because I lost my other grandad this year and maybe I’d imprinted Rab & Eleven’s distant dynamic (which it is since they’re JUST reconnecting) onto myself and my Grandad. The last time I saw him, he couldn’t remember who I was, so I knew it was a matter of time before the end.

So I’ve been revisiting Dragon Quest 11 since I beat 3.

I never finished 11, and I want to ~ I’ve almost gotten to the point where I fell off last time, 6 years ago.

Absolutely sobbed at the Rab & Jade scene where they tell Eleven about his origins in Dundrasil.
