Wasn't a FK for Burton (well taken goal) and I'd love to hear why Burton didn't have to take players off the pitch for head injuries
This is what oligarchy looks like:
Trump gave corporate America a $920 billion tax break.
Now, corporations like Amazon, Meta, Apple, Google & Lockheed Martin are returning the favor by giving Trump $300 million for a fancy ballroom.
Thatβs a pretty good return on investment.
this is utterly hilarious, turns out that it was the Tories who took the word "enemy" out of the crucial witness statement in the collapsed China spy case

The speech was an extraordinary parade of straw men, bogus historical analogies and bizarre non-sequiturs, delivered to an almost exclusively male audience.

βThe Tories want to retrospectively change the rules to deport people who have been in this country and contributed to our society for decades. They would separate British children from their parents and expel doctors and nurses who have been serving patients in the NHS for years."
One benchmark of a democracy is whether it is willing to hold those who have served at the very highest levels to account.
Can you imagine the United States ever doing something like this?
"Mr. President sir the idea is you're constantly flying around in a big jet filled with your own shit in it. Like human shit. Anyways you're wearing a little crown in your little shitmobile and you're dumping the shit out. I think people will like it."

18.10.2025 09:06 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Robert Jenrick @RobertJenrick Follow Something has fundamentally changed in Birmingham. And Britain, too, has changed with it. Consider football: the rough and tumble of our national game is nothing new for the West Midlands. Growing up in the eighties, my Dad took me to more than a few matches at Villa Park in the away end. The language, chants, and antics were - at times - less than well-mannered. But it was largely good-natured fun. Where there was violence, the police put a quick but firm end to it. Such was the rhythm of British life. The same men and women worked together all week, turning up and supporting different teams on a Saturday.
Democracy cannot survive if people like Jenrick, who is prepared to lie continually and without compunction, can prosper.
Football in the 80s was frequently violent and, especially in the first part of the decade, awash with racism. These were not halcyon days, especially for non-white Britons.
Like Bobby J I am harking back to an imagined 80s which I wasnβt a part of and so for tonightβs musical selection here is
