Why can’t we live in a kinder, more respectful world? Call me naive, but I’m living in hope that it will all come good in the end. The baddies will get their comeuppance and the rest of us will ride off into the sunset. The End

Night night sweet dreamies

Sometimes all you need is just for somebody to be there, even if they can’t solve your problems

Just knowing there is somebody there who cares can make all the difference

Be someone’s somebody 🐈

Reform’s white nationalism will extinguish everything good about Britain If they gain power people will realise – but far too late

Heartbreaking from @yasminalibhaibrown.bsky.social on the very real damage Farage and Reform are doing to our country and shared future.

“Brexit was the first, deep cut into that optimistic, multiracial Britain. What has followed was entirely predictable.”

The entire world lives under the thumb of violent misogynists--not just the Epstein class, but middle-class men like Dominique Pelicot, who drugged his wife for yrs & invited ~100 men into her bedroom to rape her--& no one seems to notice or care, except the victims, who are disbelieved or blamed.

It's such a big and important question. It needs to be discussed much more.

Perhaps. Us humans are pretty good at shying away from things that make us uncomfortable and what could be more uncomfortable than discovering that the world is a much scarier place than you thought possible? Also a lot of effort is put into distracting us from joining the dots.

Yeah, it's everything that's wrong with the world. It seems money and power trumps everything else, even humanity's future survival. Naomi Klein's Shock Doctrine opened my eyes to the effort that goes into profiteering, regardless of the consequences. We know, yet they continue to get away with it.

Misconduct in Public Office: The Arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor After years of scandal and insulation, the legal system appears to have found a door it can push open.

Andrew Mountbatten-Wonders has been arrested for misconduct in public office - not the charge many of us expected (or to be honest, wanted), but could this be the foothold required to see real accountability reach one of the world’s most insulated figures?

Now the rest of them. Not just the sex offenders, but all those named in the Epstein files who’ve used their power and influence to undermine our democracy and sell the country out.
Investigate them all.

Reform UK want to scrap the Equality Act and leave the ECHR. Yes, this will leave ordinary people open to being exploited by unscrupulous business owners and politicians, but my rich donors and I promise not to take advantage. Trust me, I'm a man of the people.

New rights for working people ✊

It's official!! the majority of the draconian 2016 Trade Union Act has been scrapped.

Now our unions have more rights to support workers, and will help secure better pay & conditions for working people!

Things like this, proposed council tax rises, restoring the two child benefits cap, are what journalists should keep informing voters of at local level.

It may not shift their base, but most want absolutely none of any this.

Sarah Kendzior and the Permanent American Conspiracy I have to confess that I’ve spent the last few months getting utterly obsessed with the Epstein story.

New review of my book THEY KNEW, which lays out the backstory of the Epstein conspiracy. It was published in 2022 and therefore lives up to the title! I appreciate this essay and its broader insights: carter719.substack.com/p/sarah-kind...

Further justification to hold the owners of social media platforms accountable for their content. As we do with traditional media. Time to close this loophole that allows so much harm to be done in our country - for the benefit of a handful of foreign billionaire platform owners.
