The bookshelf is built!! 🔨 Now to sand, stain, and figure out where everything belongs ✨

Also, if you’re like me and love to see a little progress bar going up as you write: I just found the Pacemaker writing tracker and am ✨obsessed✨ (Extra lovely to have since NaNo has bit the dust)

Started working on a new novel today and while my brain is soupy from a migraine, I’m already so excited with how it’s turning out ✨

Absolutely obsessed with what the sun is doing on the rug today ☀️

This is the current bookshelf situation! There were built in bookshelves along the stairs before (at the blue wall in the first photo) but they were pressboard and only reached the bottom of the stairs. New one will go all the way to the door! And it’s starting tomorrow!!

this is so helpful, thank you!! I'm hoping this all goes well and I can knit socks wherever I go! I do take knitting with me, but sometimes it's bulky and awkward 🙃

and I'm sure!! people love seeing others knit. I get comments every time I'm knitting outside of my house!

I’ve been talking about learning to knit socks for years and have never done so, but I figured if I bought the yarn I’d do it sooner rather than later. Also, if you have tips for using double pointed needles, please share them 🧶 I’m going in blind here folks

We're also having a (new & improved) built in bookshelf put in along our stairs on Tuesday (!!) so I've been repainting the walls/organizing books/all that. It's been busy around here!

A little harvest/life update: I still need to pickle more peppers, and did not touch the cabbage, because I ended up organizing some new bookshelves last night. But they look great (pictures to come soon).
