Take as great care with your data and messages as we do -especially if you have personal relationship risks. Use incognito and a VPN, clear browsers and cookies, save contact info with sensible naming conventions, do not leave devices unattended or unprotected, etc

If using incall, follow their arrival + entry instructions. When in doubt, call/text your provider. Do not knock on neighboring doors, do not ask the front desk, and try not to hover if waiting. It can be nerve-racking but try to keep calm and reach out if you get stuck (happens to the best of us!)

Screen and pay deposits if requested. Beyond safety and security, this ensures a provider isn't wasting their time discussing particulars with someone who has no intention to book, etc. On the other side of logistics, you'll find some more open to discreet planning conversations.

Many providers have sites carefully constructed to share openness to certain flavors of sessions. If there is a specific thing that is mission critical to a successful meet, choose a provider who clearly offers that. Also, vote for politicians who support decrim to remove ambiguity in the future!

When making a request via proper channels, choose your words wisely. This is not the time for alphabet soup and if the provider lives in locales where their work is not decriminalized, you may need to wait for face-to-face for specifics. But how do you know you'll have the session you want that way?

Use secure email. If you're on hotml/gml/yah your convos are not protected. Get a proton email or other E2EE provider outside the US. This also allows you to set an expiration on emails on top of E2EE which is especially good for sending screening info (inform provider of expiration date pls!)

Recognize that social media is a billboard, not an entry point. Use the contact channels requested (e.g. website) and for all things holy: do not use DMs to make requests. You threaten the safety of their account. If you like free content and social access to your favorites, operate responsibly.
