Can anyone advise on publishers/ journals that are open to submissions, and would be interested in travel writing, Cold War or literary based memoirs of Novella length (20 K+) or shorter excerpts.

I read it in a day. Engrossing! It just stresses that, when deterrence fails, you can respond in kind, if you have time, but it's certainly not going to save the planet. You are just getting your own back, ensuring that armageddon is comprehensive.
