Well, work wants me back in the bay (and I want me back in the bay). The AI boom/bubble is driving up housing prices, and had I kept my apartment over the last 6 months instead of moving away and back, I'd have saved money in the long run.

Struggling with the idea that I've made a series of hugely life altering mistakes this summer. The AI bubble is changing things in ways that my skillset and finances can't really keep up with, and not really sure how to put my best foot forward in this new world.

I've added progesterone to my hormone regimen as a monthly cycle. I didn't know what to expect, and I'm very surprised by the wide spectrum of emotions that I've run through this month as levels have changed. One week things are peachy and then next week you tear up because you've run out of Salami.

It's really tough that FC's Party Floor changed out from under us. I had a lot of great memories there.

My hat's off to our hotel volunteers who managed it, and the ones who did their best in negotiation this year. Venues change hands, policies change, constraints change. Not ideal but it happens.

I'm a little worried about going through winter in Seattle for how little I'll see the sun, but coming from the Bay Area, I am SO excited to experience a little bit of a winter for the first time in 4 years. (Just don't drive after a snow here!)

Fair, it may not be acidic on its own. The point being (for the benefit of this thread), acid won't help to neutralize it any faster. Generally people suggest 50/50 water and some kind of liquid antacid.

Vinegar will do nothing. Tear gas is acidic and rags don't do a lot to fully react with tear gas. You need a respirator to be safe. It's better for folks to return prepared with helmets and respirators or for others to show up with them to hand them out.
