Today I did my first ever start-to-finish scope and it was with a patient who, after being all but NBM for the best part of three months, is now (safely) chowing down on fish and chips! I don't think I'll ever do a better FEES in my career 😌 #mySLTday

Both our small crit care team & the wider SLT team are highly supportive, with frequent opportunities for both scheduled & ad hoc clinical supervision & general support.
There are also regular opportunities for internal & external training, including our bi-monthly CPD Cafés! 🤓

We have great (and timely!) access to both VFSS and FEES, optimising the care we offer our patients 𝗮𝗻𝗱 providing plenty of opportunities for upskilling our therapists! 🏅

At each of our three critical care units, we get to work closely with a specialist MDT, which includes physiotherapy, dietetics, clinical psychology(!) and pharmacy, as well as our amazing nursing and intensivist colleagues! 🦸🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️
