A while back I made a one-page piece on the Hollywood actress Merle Oberon for ’Patastrophe! magazine. Evidently I expanded the idea into a zine and put in in a drawer. Whilst searching for something else the zine appeared again -

Cut out words and phrases are always appearing in obscure places around my house, like self-generating oblique strategies. I’ve just emptied a bin to find the message for today…

Wiped. This was the first time an ex-partner deleted her image from my timeline. She cut out all pictures of herself from our wedding photos.
Now it’s happened again, an ex removed all photos of herself from our albums.
What is going on? Is it me? Is it the voodoo power of the imagery?

Oh, a small disagreement was allowed to become an issue. One member left, meetings stopped, momentum lost. Perhaps it will reconstitute itself somehow.

Although the Surrealerpool group has ceased to exist, it still managed to create a new issue of ‘Patastrophe! magazine. Those surrealists eh?!
