Fellow liberals, let’s not forget the game Collins and Murkowski have been playing for years. They will never vote against their party if there is a chance it will matter. They need to appear (somewhat) moderate to get re-elected, but they will always tow the party line when asked.

First, look harder to find the layer of humor in my comment. Second, to look at DEI as though it’s only about hiring people who aren’t white men shows a lack of understanding of the various ways that a DEI mindset can be applied. One example is simply giving marginalized people a seat at the table.
