The top three things Jesus was on about were feeding the hungry, healing the sick, and welcoming the stranger. Rich men have convinced so-called Christians to starve the hungry, gut health care, and deport the stranger to enrich themselves. It’s astoundingly anti-Christ.

'Just getting started': Zack Polanski reacts as Greens SECOND in new poll ZACK Polanski has welcomed a new poll putting his party in second place at Westminster.

So either Labour need to ask candidates to step aside for the Greens to take on Reform....

Or actually bring in a fair democratic process where everyone's votes count equally.

It's time for Proportional Representation.

Here it is. First poll to put Greens in 2nd, ahead of Lab and Con, each on 16. (Very close to Yougov's latest, before the FindOutNow whatabouts).
And the Rachel Reeves story hasn't even shaken out yet. ouch

They should find routes to go for the wealthier pensioners, not go after pensioners living on an income just over Β£12.5k (which is half the minimum wage) who are not affluent. It's indefensible. Also the cost of living has well outstripped the triple lock.

Thousands on benefits could have energy debt cancelled by Ofgem Regulator Ofgem plans to cut Β£500m from the stack of customer debt - but other billpayers will cover the cost.

The energy bill write off con.

Fuel poverty rising, debt Β£4.4bn. Ofgem says Β£500m could be written off.

It would be added to the bills of other customers. Energy companies made Β£514bn operating profit since 2020.

No cut in their profit. Debt would be rebuilt

Nationalise energy. End profiteering

All four @plaidcymru.bsky.social MPs and the sole Welsh Lib Dem MP voted against Farage’s bill to withdraw from ECHR - but only two Welsh Labour MPs. Anyone from Welsh Labour care to comment?

Home secretary Mahmood is looking to reform and disapply elements of the ECHR used by immigrants facing deportation, so no surprise Blue Labour's numbers were so bad yesterday as they too want to take away human rights.

Farage's motion on leaving the European Convention on Human Rights failed: 154 votes to 96

All 4 @greenparty.org.uk MPs voted against it, because we believe international agreements on human rights are a good thing.

But only 63 out of 401 Labour MPs did:

Why the banking industry is not a paragon of free markets, efficiency, or honesty Despite making record profits and paying record returns to shareholders it resents paying taxes.

In 2024, UK’s big four banks HSBC, Barclays, Lloyds, & National Westminster made Β£45.9bn profit.

Since 2021/22 profit margins up by 21%.

2022 -2024: Big four banks paid Β£124bn in dividends, Β£32bn in share buybacks.

They oppose possible tax increase, publish misleading tax numbers.

Tax them.

X is a fascist platform fermenting disorder in the UK and constantly pushing dangerous untruthful conspiracy theories, disinformation, and misogyny, etc. It goes well beyond "free speech". It should be banned in the UK.
Starmer's Blue Labour won't take action as they live in Trump's arse.

X is a cesspit led by an unhinged billionaire who is desperately trying to stir up civil war in Britain.

Nobody with any sense or decency should be there.

No organisations, government departments, or politicians should be there.

Everyone who is, is enabling this monster.

Rachel Reeves HATES pensioners with a passion. She keeps on saying Labour is for "working" people - believe her.
There will be yet more pain for pensioners in her "hit the poor protect the richest" budget next month.
On the plus side, Labour is 17% and dropping in the polls. πŸ’š

Half of taxpayers facing HMRC interest bills are pensioners Pensioners account for almost half (44 per cent) of all taxpayers facing an HMRC bill for interest earned on their cash savings, according to a freedom of information request by AJ Bell.

UK pensioners account for 44% of all taxpayers facing HMRC bill for interest earned on savings.

Personal allowance frozen since 2021. More pensioners caught in tax and poverty trap, recieve unexpected tax bills.

Phoning HMRC for help is a nightmare.
