I asked my brother for gift ideas for his son’s birthday. His suggestion? A $1,800 Lego set. So naturally I told him I was trying to decide between getting my nephew a 7 piece drum set or a Goliath Birdeater Tarantula.

Aside from getting old with you, that is. That part’s okay.

I mind being middle-aged! I miss being able to stay up all night and still be functional the next day! I want knees that don’t pop and a back that doesn’t get cranky if I bend wrong! I want to be able to eat whatever crap I want and not get heartburn! Getting old sucks!
