we need to forge our own paths and take care of our communities and not only find joy but create it. we need to keep going for the future, a liveable future built through solidarity and collective action. it's so important for other people to do more than just see us

people think that those of us who have dissociative seizures are just faking for attention but i had one in public this morning and i'm still absolutely mortified and begging for the ground to open up and swallow me whole

Bit weird how pushback against ill-informed or biased views is seen as more of an issue than aggressively right-wing agitators feeling vindicated and emboldened. Bit strange that so many people seem more comfortable with creeping fascism than with being asked to be decent about vulnerable groups.

I like garron noone. I do think he's a good egg and well meaning on the whole and I don't expect him to be up on everything but like, he's done and said things that are not on. Take it on the chin and do better. That's how you grow.

One word certainly weaponised in Ireland in the past two years is "concern". Not all "concerns" are reasonable and not all opinions are equal. Not delicious.
