The Rosebank oil field is co-owned by Ithaca, whose parent company is the Delek group. A massive Israeli energy conglomerate that gives fuel to the IDF and operates in illegal Israeli settlements in Palestine.

DEFUND GENOCIDE 🌹 STOP ROSEBANK

Today we stood outside DESNZ as part of the national march for Palestine to call out the potential of up to £253M in oil profits going to a UN black listed corporation, if the Rosebank oil field is approved by the UK government.

🚨 Rosebank is a bad deal for us!

🌹 Equinor profits, yet 84% of Rosebank’s development is paid for by us.

🌹 It will have no impact on energy bills – the oil will be sold on the global market.

🌹 No future for workers – UK oil & gas jobs are in decline.

Any day now Equinor will resubmit their application for the disastrous Rosebank oil field - which will burn through 500million barrels of oil if it's approved - and the government must say NO!

Rosebank & Jackdaw fields face 'tightened' approval process Last year, the Supreme Court ruled that firms must account for emissions created by the burning of fossil fuels.

Today the government released the new guidelines for oil and gas projects, finally formalising the decision made in the Finch win: they must include ALL emissions- including from burning their oil.
