Denmark did this & PROSECUTED DANES who gave refugees tea & biscuits, or a lift in the Danes' cars.

Are Brits prepared to be prosecuted for serving tea in their own homes to guests of their choice?

Nativists voting for these policies should know: they lose their freedom too.

Nous is keen on making every programme have 50% compulsory modules. We've seen the impact on recruitment and NSS score in other universities, we don't need it here.

This is a new low from a govt plumbing the depths of performative cruelty in hopes that the public won’t notice they have no answers to the real issues facing this country

A sensible, humane govt would focus on safe routes to prevent people making dangerous small boat crossings

People arriving here by small boat are desperate, often traumatised. Latest figures are 68% of boat arrivals granted asylum (see link)

The idea of the govt stripping people of their valuables & then hawking it off literally makes me sick to my stomach

I did a very silly thing and told my students off for leaving early because I forgot we were only timetabled for 2hrs (every other session I’ve run at this uni has been 3hrs). I feel bad!

Delighted that these four artworks found new homes at my solo exhibition. Big thank you to everyone who visited, I'll be open again November 22nd at 11am.

The "jokes" and general callousness in response to the Epst*in emails just affirms my belief that the gulf between survivors of sexual violence and those who aren't / or otherwise do not recognize their experiences as violent is WIDE.

The only Legitimate Concerns about asylum seekers are concerns for their well being and safety. For a rich country like ours to incessantly whine about these people as if we are their victims is perhaps the single most pathetic spectacle in British politics over the past quarter century.

I looked up the guy who was a drug dealer and very alternative and against the system at school and now he works in corporate relations for a gold mine.

I remember them telling me that I won't get curly hair if I don't eat my crusts and I was like 'meh, hate curly hair'. Now I have wavy hair and it's probably the damn crusts' fault.

I come from a vegetarian family and the lack of pressure is great. Did cheese themed Xmas dinner one year and everything had cheese in it. Did Moroccan food another year. It's more fun when you can eat anything you like.

I'm not against them, but I did hear Aboriginal people laughing at the phrase 'acknowledge the elders- past, present and emerging' because they were like 'wtf is an emerging elder?' I think sometimes they can be powerful and sometimes they're done in a way that is stupidly clunky.
