my favorite in-house zelda timeline headcanon, is that the reason why the timeline is so jumbled up and inconsistent, and same characters or relics seem to appear in different contexts, is because the games are legends told by the various cultures of modern day hyrule, AS they are told 1/2

in georgia (my country) we have 2 mandatory foreign languages. one of them is always english, and different years of school correspond to different levels (i believe in 9th year we learn B2 english)
not all languages go A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2 by the way. for example japanese goes N5, N4, N3, N2, N1

as i wrote that i realized that native speakers probably aren't generally aware of how the difficulty of their language is labelled for non-native speakers. i get it now

why would english speakers not know this? it's the same in english
