I made a little arcade game I am currently putting my soul into and I would love to have more people try. It's hard out here.

You can try my mobile game. It doesn't have a lot of ads, there is one that pops up when you first start (skippable), but I'm getting rid of it soon it wasn't supposed to be there. Otherwise it's just banners at the bottom at game overs.

The update is going slowly but steady. I don't get much work time on it each day but I try to do at least something every day. Yesterday I got the framework done for the balloon design swapping.

However I did also switch to playing Minecraft for like 4 hours. Oops.
We are at 7 characters so far. They don't have their unlock requirements yet. I want to have most of the Shadow of Dexl cast eventually!
12.09.2025 18:29 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0yesterday instead of working on my game I decided to rearrange the living room that ended up being like the episode of SpongeBob where Squidward was rearranging the room for SpongeBob and at the end ended up being the same as when it started. took me hours. haha

I also added the character unlock backend stuff
Lots of tweaks and play testing. I'm happy with progress even if it's a bit slow. Soon!
There was a lot of contradicting code it was almost hilarious it was like I was setting the speeds in like 4 places and 3 of them were just undoing the others
The hard part was getting the controls to feel mostly the same while basically removing 75 percent of the code
Accidentally spent the whole night redoing the balloons movement code. That was so messy I didn't even know what was making it move anymore. It had waaaay too many things going on it didn't need.

I made an android game, it has very non-intrusive banner ads at the very bottom when you die and that's it. I even put the buttons far away from the banner so you don't hit it by mistake. Nothing pops up at you ever.
