Spot on. This is the clearest explanation I’ve seen. It ‘s relatable, and humanizes the issue in a way everyone can understand.

The thing is, whatever happens in this round or the general election, Andrew Cuomo is never, ever going to stop chasing the high he briefly had in 2020 of people — for once in his life — thinking he didn’t suck, a condition known as “Giuliani Syndrome”.
